As part of its vertical-mixer programme Strautmann now presents a further member of this product family - the Verti - Mix 400 with 4 m³ volume or with a screwed extension as Verti - Mix 500 with 5 m³ volume.
This fodder-mixer puts a new concept into practice. Unlike previous models, this vehicle has no chassis; instead, the weighing bolts are placed in the axle and in the drawbar - there are three of them. The machine can be equipped with high or low attachment. Optional extras such as a forked drawbar for the tractor linkage drawbar, a weighing system, an overflow ring and a fold-out set of steps

The feed is distributed through a side discharge on the front right side of the vehicle. Also when distributing large quantities of feed the position of the axle avoids driving over the discharged feed.
The vehicle's major advantages are the very low power requirement - from 35 hp - and its very compact size. With this vehicle Strautmann has fulfilled the market's need to be able to mix homogeneous feed rations of 2 m³ upwards. |
