Strautmann is breaking completely new ground in the construction of its Verti-Mix Double … K fodder mixer. For the first time the company has built a 2-auger vertical fodder-mixer that uses vertical mixing augers of varying diameters.
Strautmann's Verti-Mix Double …. K combines the advantages of the classical vertical fodder mixer (retains the fodder structure, mixes quickly, less wear, lower maintenance costs and lower power requirements), with those of the horizontal mixer (narrow construction, large tyres near the mixing container) in a single machine.

The pressure on producer prices for milk has increased enormously over the last few years. This has caused professionally-operated dairy farms to take a critical look at all factors in their production costs. This is reflected, among other things, in the continually increasing sales figures for loader wagons during the last years.
In several independently-conducted tests harvesting basic feed with the loader wagon has proved that this procedure - especially in the case of short distances between farm and field up to 5km - can achieve a cost advantage of up to 15%. Double use - that's what can be realised with the new quick-top chopping super-structure . With just a few movements you can turn your loader wagon into a real chopping trailer.
One important feature is that the usual super-structure ropes for converting the trailer are available. This is made possible by the very simple and robustly fixed spindle for the ropes. The advantage is that when working with the loader wagon the vehicle can be completely be filled as usual without loosing any load.
