The wide product range of agricultural tip trailers is completed by the Strautmann 18 t two-axle three-side tip trailer SZK 18-H. The vehicle offers an all-round wooden body, combined with a proven chassis design which enables its user to carry out (almost) any transport task of an agricultural enterprise.
The familiar SZK 18 frame in solid design stands for robustness and long service life. The proven chassis excels by easy towing and high driving stability. Depending on its equipment and registration, the tip trailer may be driven at 40, 60 or 80 km/h.
The weatherproof wooden body ensures a low dead weight and accordingly high payload. The wooden side panels of a height of 1500 mm which are resistent to humidity and which are also available with vertical separation, prevent sensitive loads such as potatoes from being damaged and permit safe unloading even in frosty conditions. The rubber sealing system of the hinged side panels ensures transport even of fine-grained loads such as rape without losses.
For carrying out transports regardless of weather conditions, e.g. the transport of grain, the SZK 18-H is also available with rollable tarpaulin and triangle as well as with a solid gangway. Further optional equipment details are discharging extension sheets and a hydraulic side panel unlocking mechanism which is required for delivery to numerous sugar factories. |
