The Strautmann Verti Mix Double models have especially been developed for low and narrow feeding tables. Having a low overall height and a narrow design, these machines are equipped with a high mixing volume. Currently, the sizes 12m³ to 28m³ are offered. Due to the mixing system with two vertical mixing augers, this trailer shows all positive features the vertical mixer with one mixing auger offers. One of its characteristic features is its particularly robust, low-wear design which is easy to maintain. The augers and the proven drive gear units could be taken from the one-auger trailers. The augers are not driven in series, but in parallel from a special power divider gearbox. This offers the great advantage that each auger can be separately protected against overloading. In case of an auger driving in series, the first auger must be protected so strongly that it also carries the load of the second one. This holds an uncertainty factor.
