In the last two years, Strautmann has developed a completely new programme of universal manure spreaders of a gross vehicle weight rating from 8-22t. All VS spreaders can be equipped with a 4-drum spreading unit or with a two-plate universal spreading unit, as desired. The tines of the spreading unit are screwed and revolving. The spreading plates of the universal spreading unit are equipped with four adjustable throwshovels to ensure an optimum adjustment of the working width to the different spreading materials. The body of the VS spreaders consists of a solid all-steel tub. All models are equipped with a lightly sloping front wall to make loading easier. The scraper floor has been completely reworked, too. The new large-sized sprockets reduce wear and increase the service life of the whole scraper floor.
