Building on the growing success with Strautmann and coinciding with the growing trend for the use of silage wagons and diet feeders in Ireland,I.A.M recently organised a trip to the Strautmann factory at Bad Laer near Osnabruck, Germany for I.A.M./Strautmann Dealerships, together with some I.A.M. personnel.
The trip was organised over a three-day period from March 21st. to 23rd. and incorporated a tour of the production facilities at the factory, product information / comparisons on silage harvesting and diet feeder technology. The visitors also had the opportunity to see the latest Strautmann models in action on farms, also new designs being developed and a very interesting visit to a fully operational BIO energy plant, in conjunction with a Strautmann VertiMix mixer / feeder. |

Nicholas Dunne, I.A.M. Sales Director commented "It is vital that with the continued growth of Strautmann machinery in Ireland that both ourselves and our main Strautmann dealers are kept fully up to speed with the latest trends in harvesting and feeding developments. We had a chance to see the Strautmann machines put through their paces on farm, which was very impressive. Also what was very interesting to us all was the chance to see first hand, a fully operational BIO energy plant - this really was of interest to all of the group and showed us all a new option for farming that is only just developing. Overall, the visit was a huge success, with all of our dealers coming back with a very high impression of the Strautmann Company and of the excellent build and quality of their products "
